More than 2,000 Horses in 14 Late-Entry Tournaments, International Shows, Clinics and, and, and ... Ludger Beerbaum about his first year of his new Equine Centre: "Very satisfied!"
"We had some very interesting events and accomplished many projects in the first year of existence of Riesenbeck International. In the future we want to continue setting new standards concerning equestrian issues as well as welfare of horses", says Ludger Beerbaum. The operator of the two indoor arenas at Surenburg in Riesenbeck is proud that his colleagues and interested horse people have accepted the Equestrian Centre so well. The German Youth Championships in dressage and jumping (August 18.-21.), tow late-Entry tournaments for dressage riders, a seminar with the German Dressage Chef d’Equipe Monica Theodorescu and the implementation of Longines World Equestrian Academy are additional highlights in 2016.
Hard to believe what the small, highly motivated team of Riesenbeck International in cooperation with the Riesenbeck riding club has done in the past twelve months: after the big opening ceremony along with subsequent stallion show, followed 14 Late-Entry tournaments with 2,000 horses, two international equestrian competitions, and a Nations Cup driving event. As well as three FEI seminars for course designer, a seminar for international farriers, evening seminars in cooperation with the Department of Personal Members of the German National Federation. And also clinics with Ludger Beerbaum, Marco Kutscher (who taught the NF-Talent group), Franke Sloothaak (who trained the winners of the German Youth Championships from 2015), and with Thomas Stiller (who is responsible for the foreign guest rider in Ludger Beerbaum's stables). The first ever PM Award Ceremony was held in the Gallery of Riesenbeck International.
The Equestrian Centre has become a highly regarded meeting place in the horse world. And yet Ludger Beerbaum, how could it be otherwise, is not quite satisfied: "The grounds in the large grass stadium have already been renewed. Behind the indoor arenas we have also built a modern 60 x 140 meter grass arena. Meanwhile, we have turned our Gallery into a really beautiful seminar and VIP area, where the local caterer serves healthy and homemade food during our tournaments. Now we have to worry about the Internet connection around the entire facility as well as getting a heating system into the big indoor arena. Improved stabling and parking situation will make it a round thing. " Strategically, it is also important how the program at Riesenbeck International should look like in 2017. Karsten Lütteken, Managing Director of Riesenbeck International is sure that he and his team won’t get bored: "We're already deep into the next planning phase. We definitely want to continue to live up to our reputation to promote equestrian sport. "
